![]() ![]() Tokai have been consistent in their methods and quality for the MIJ line for decades, yet your opening statement implies (more than implies, I would say) that they're all over the map now, like quality has dropped off in recent years, comparable to Epiphone. Even yours, a 1980 model if I'm not mistaken, is finished in Poly and obviously 2 pieces, as you pointed out. What confuses me about your honest observation is you scoff at Tokai's use of 2 piece bodies and poly finishes, and attribute those to new lower end MIJ models, however the lower end MIJ models have been made that way for decades. I am not "angry".just a little bit frustrated and confused by some of your statements, not because I take them personally, but because I have in fact done my research (as you wisely advised the OP to do). I'm not looking for a fight, nor do I want to make you an enemy. Look man, I don't post here often, and I obviously don't know you or your rep here.
